How do I get my Contractor’s License in Arizona?

  1. You’ll need four total years of verified practical and management trade experience. Additionally, two of the four years’ experience MUST be related to the specific area of license application (or its equivalent) and those 2 years MUST have occurred within the last 10 years.
  2. Prepare for the exam. Visit asreb.com [link to https://www.asreb.com/programs/general_contractors/courses/ ] to help you make sure you pass the first time.
  3. Pass the exam. Take the state exam and pass with a score of 70% or higher.
  4. Apply for your license. You can apply for your license at the Registrar of Contractors site here:  https://roc.az.gov/
