Dean Martin, Arizona State Treasurer will be presenting a three hour program to Tucson’s real estate agents on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 1pm to 4pm at Hogan School of Real Estate’s Northwest Campus. The Honorable Dean Martin will be presenting: the budgetary process within the Arizona legislature, his role as Treasurer, state revenue sources and percentages, how the federal stimulus package affects Arizona and the national economy, effects of the Affordability and Stability package on real estate and an economic forecast for the future of Arizona. 

 

 

Treasurer Dean Martin is a statewide constitutional officer and serves as Arizona’s Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the prudent custody and management of state and local monies. The Treasurer also serves as the Chairman of the State Board of Investment, and State Loan Commission, as the State Surveyor General and on the State Land Selection Board. Dean has opened government finances to the public on his website AZTreasury.gov. Treasurer Martin was previously a State Senator, Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, Vice-Chairman of Judiciary, and a senior member of Appropriations.  Treasurer Martin and his wife of thirteen years, Kerry, are expecting their first child at the end of May. They are both graduates of Arizona State University, where Dean earned his degree in Small Business Management/Entrepreneurship.

 A Perspective from Arizona State Treasurer Dean Martin will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 1pm to 4pm at Hogan School of Real Estate’s Northwest Campus located at 3912 W. Ina Road, Tucson.
