bulb20greenIn our most recent NAR GREEN designation course for the Phoenix Association of REALTORS we asked students to identify their community and share the GREENest features in their hometown. So based on where our students live and practice real estate, here’s what they had to say about where they live and work:

Christa Lawcock (Downtown Phoenix) – “I love the diversity and the sharing of educational and professional information in my community.”

Diane Conners (Willo District – Phoenix) – “I live within walking distance of the new light rail system.”

Stephanie Rae (Chandler) – “We have subside recycling.”

Brad Johnson (Denver, Colorado) – ” Denver has created “GreenPrint Denver. It is a master plan for Denver to become a GREEN community.”

Lisa Whitehead (Sedona) – “Come to Sedona. We have clean air and starlit skies free of light pollution.”

Jerry Germansen (Dewey Humbolt) – “Our community is currently working to cleanup a previous Superfund contamination site.”

Mark Barker (Leewood, Kansas) – “My area has 97% recycling use!”

Debbie Barnes (Scottsdale) – “I would like to welcome you to live in my area which has trails, paths, electronic recycling and one of the nation’s premier green building programs.”

Ann Hale (Litchfield) – “We have great landscaping free of lots of concrete and heat islands.”
