Arizona Appraiser ClassificationsLicensed Residential Appraiser Completion of 150 classroom hours of real estate appraisal courses including 15 hours of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices, 2,000 hours of appraisal experience in not less than 18 months, successful completion of the State licensed real estate appraiser examination. Certified Residential Appraiser Completion of 200 classroom hours of real estate appraisal courses including 15 hours of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices. Associate degree or higher is also required, or in lieu thereof, 21 college level semester hours in specified courses. 2,500 hours of appraisal experience in not less than 24 months (Not less than two completed reports must be multi-family), successful completion of the State licensed real estate appraiser examination. Certified General Appraiser Completion of 300 classroom hours of real estate appraisal courses including 15 hours of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices, Bachelors degree or higher is also required, or in lieu thereof, 30 college level semester hours in specified courses. 3,000 hours of appraisal experience in not less than 30 months (At least 1,500 hours must reflect non-residential appraisals), successful completion of the State licensed real estate appraiser examination. Important InformationA final exam is given at the completion of each module. Students must have a passing rate of 70%. All courses are AQB (Appraisal Qualifications Board) approved through the Appraisal Foundation. All courses are approved for Continuing Education credit with the exception of the 15 hours USPAP Course. |
